John's career experience has been quite diverse in that the first 8 years were in the manufacturing industry and the last 27 in healthcare. He has led large multi-city technology organizations in the payer space at United Healthcare, McKesson and GTESS. John has also ran large multi-city and international technology, service and product development organizations in the provider space at Abaton, McKesson and Health Language. At NYeC, he was responsible for growing the technology operations function that successfully consolidated 4 data centers and achieved Direct Trust HISP certification through EHNAC audit.

Splitting his time helping medical insurance, benefit plan (third party) administrators, pharmacy benefit managers and health plans for 15 years; helping hospitals, ambulatory clinics, physicians, nurses, lab techs, radiologists and pharmacists for 10 years; and two years as CIO/CTO operating an HIE infrastructure supporting over 10 million patient records have provided him with opportunities to gain deep understanding of the breadth of this complex industry.
